I’m a third-generation UNBC graduate. UNBC is where I built the mix I care about most: rigorous CS (especially vision, modeling, and systems), plus an MIS minor for how technology lands in real organizations. The honours path pushed me into original research on robust consensus, work that became an IEEE UIC oral paper, while teaching, club leadership, and senate service kept that research grounded in community.
Highlights while at UNBC
- Completed the Computer Science Honours program with a focus on mathematical modeling, robustness, and applied AI, culminating in peer-reviewed conference research.
- Added a Management Information Systems minor to connect technical work with process design, systems thinking, and organizational decision-making.
- Balanced coursework with roles that show up elsewhere on this site: Teaching Assistant, CS Club President, JDC West VP Technology, and FSE Senate representative.
