Strategy & board games
I adore board games. I love strategy games with friends. Give me a rulebook, a table, and one more round. I’ll be there.
I am a total nerd. And I mean that in the best way possible. I get obsessed with the intricacies of different systems. Whether it is Robert’s Rules of Order, a complex board game, or strategy games with my friends.
I also love music. Choir has been a big part of my life for years. I play pickleball when I want to get away from a screen.
Toastmasters helped me get better at speaking in front of people. That still shows up in how I teach, pitch, and present.

I play pickleball. It’s fast, social, and a good break from sitting at a computer all day.
I love music. I’ve sung with the Prince George Tapestry Singers for years, and I’ve also been a member of the Prince George Cantata Singers for two years. With Tapestry we’ve received gold standing at the Cantando and Kiwanis music festivals.
I was a member of Plaza 400 Toastmasters. It’s where I practiced speeches, leadership, and parliamentary procedure, including Robert’s Rules of Order.
I care a lot about family history and the places that connect to it. These photos are from time in Austria and Germany, including Lichtenstein Castle, which my grandfather would see on his walk to school.
Also on that trip: Schloss Leopoldskron from The Sound of Music, Salzburg from above, Hohenschwangau in Bavaria, and the Französischer Dom in Berlin.

The French Cathedral on Berlin’s Gendarmenmarkt. “Dom” here means the dome.
